Royal Pack Industries

Royal Pack Industries operates out of units 946 and 947 in the GIDC area. It’s a pretty industrial setting, as you can imagine, with lots of sheds and trucks moving in and out all day long. The sun hits the metal roofs pretty hard in the afternoon, so it gets warm inside the workshop. We spend most of our time dealing with packaging and making sure the machines are running like they should. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of the inventory coming through the doors. The GIDC is a big place, and it’s easy to get lost if you don’t know the plot numbers, but we’ve been at this spot long enough that the local drivers know where to find us. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that; usually, you’ll just find us on the floor or sitting at the back desk with a ledger. Most days are just about hitting the numbers and making sure nothing gets stuck in the lines. We eat our lunch together near the main entrance when it’s a bit cooler. It is a noisy environment with the hum of the equipment, but you get used to it after a week or two. There isn’t much to look at besides the boxes and the machinery, but it’s our space and we keep it running. We just focus on the daily tasks and going home on time once the day is done.
