Spectra Blend Industries

Spectra Blend Industries is tucked away at Plot No. 68. It’s a straightforward industrial space where we do a lot of the mixing and blending work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The place is mostly filled with large containers and these big mixers that hum all day long. It isn’t the quietest environment, but you get used to the steady noise after a while. We have to be careful about the measurements, so you’ll see people staring at scales and writing numbers down on clipboards quite a bit. It’s a bit of a technical job, but we don’t treat it like some high-tech lab. It’s a workshop, through and through. The floor can get a bit slippery if we aren't careful, so we’re always cleaning up spills and keeping the walkways clear. We don't have a lot of visitors, just the delivery guys and the occasional inspector. Our tea breaks are usually taken outside the main door so we can get some fresh air. The building is a bit grey and nondescript, but it does what we need it to do. We’ve been here at Plot 68 for some time now and we know the layout like the back of our hand. It’s just a place where we put in our hours and make sure the blends are ready for whoever needs them. No more, no less, just getting through the schedule.
