Shivam Flooring Tiles is over at Plot No. 432. It’s a simple shop where we keep all the different tiles people need for their houses or shops. We spend most of our day moving boxes and showing people what we have in stock. It’s dusty work sometimes but that’s just how it goes when you deal with flooring materials. The place isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a gate and the plot number. We’ve got floor tiles, wall tiles, and all the stuff you need to put them down. People come by when they are building a new room or maybe just fixing a bathroom that’s seen better days. We try to keep a decent variety so there’s something for everyone who walks in. It’s just us here, usually drinking some tea and waiting for the next truck to arrive or a customer to pull up. Dealing with tiles means you have to be careful not to break anything, so we spend a lot of time stacking things just right. It’s a local business, nothing corporate about it. We just know our inventory and where everything is kept on the plot. Sometimes it gets quiet, and other times we are running around trying to find a specific pattern someone saw somewhere else.
