Riddhi Packaging

Riddhi Packaging is tucked away at Plot No. C-1/243-384. It is a big space but it always feels a bit cramped because of all the rolls of paper and stacks of boxes we keep. You can’t really walk two feet without bumping into some cardboard. We spend most of our time cutting, folding, and gluing things together. It’s a lot of repetitive movement, but you get used to the rhythm after a while. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half a morning getting them back on track. We aren't some massive corporation with a glass building. It’s just a regular industrial shed with a tin roof that gets loud when it rains. We’ve had some of the same customers for a long time now. They just call us up and we get their stuff ready. It’s a practical business. There is always a lot of scrap paper lying around that needs to be cleared out. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. Working with packaging isn't exactly glamorous, but it’s necessary for everyone else’s business. We try to make sure the dimensions are right so people don't complain. The area around here is always full of trucks loading and unloading. We’re just one small part of that whole cycle. It’s hard work, but it keeps the lights on and we like the people we work with every day.
