Navrang Plastic

Our place at Plot No. C-1/243/21-22 is usually full of bins and raw plastic pellets. It is a noisy setup, especially when the grinders are running in the back. We have been working out of these units for a while now. The floors are always covered in little bits of plastic no matter how much we sweep at the end of the shift. Most of us have been here for years, so we know which machine is acting up just by the sound it makes. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially near the molds, and the fans don't always do much. We just keep the water bottles full and get through the day. We make all sorts of plastic items, mostly things people don't think twice about when they use them. It is honest work for us. The delivery trucks have a hard time backing into the space because of the narrow lane, but we manage somehow. Sometimes the power goes out and we all just sit outside on the crates for a bit until it comes back. We don't have a big office or anything, just a metal desk in the corner with a lot of paperwork and some old samples. We spend most of our time out on the floor anyway. It is simpler that way for everyone. We just focus on getting the parts out and making sure the colors match what the customer wanted. There’s always a pile of scrap that needs recycling, and that keeps us busy on Friday afternoons when the production slows down.
