Nandish Builders

We've been at Plot No. 930 for a while now. Most days here are spent looking over blueprints or talking to guys on the site. It gets dusty, and the noise of the mixers is just part of the background by now. We started small, just taking on local jobs, and that's still mostly what we do. People come by the office when they need something fixed or a new wall put up. Sometimes it's a big project, other times it's just a small patch job. We keep our tools ready and try to stay on top of the schedule, though weather or supplies can sometimes slow things down. It’s not fancy work, but it’s what we know. The office isn't much to look at, just a desk and some chairs where we drink tea and talk about the next day’s labor. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of the real work happens outside in the sun. If you walk past Plot 930, you'll likely see a couple of trucks parked out front. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we set up here. It’s a busy life, and there’s always something that needs doing. We just show up, do the job, and move on to the next one. That’s how it goes for us at Nandish Builders. There is always a pile of bricks or a stack of wood near the gate waiting to be used. The gate squeaks a bit when you open it.
