Maruti Fabrication

If you come down to Plot No. 727, you will find us right across from GLPL. It is a loud place most of the time because of the welding and the cutting machines. We have been at this spot for quite a bit. Usually, there is a pile of metal scraps near the entrance and the smell of hot steel in the air. It is not the cleanest shop, but that is just how fabrication goes. My hands are usually covered in some kind of grease or grit by noon. We do not spend much time on the computer or writing things down unless it is a bill. Mostly we are just fixing things or building frames for whoever walks in. The traffic outside can get a bit much during shift changes at the bigger factories nearby. On hot days, the shed gets really warm, so we keep the big doors wide open. We keep a few chairs in the corner for when someone needs to wait for a small job to be finished. It is a straightforward setup. No receptionists or fancy waiting rooms here. Just us and the tools. Sometimes we have to shout over the sound of the grinders. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We have lived in this area for a long time, so we know most of the guys running the other workshops on this street. We just do what needs to be done.
