Kaleon Laboratories

Kaleon Laboratories is based at Plot No. 711. It’s a place where we spend a lot of time looking at samples and checking things under the lights. It’s not like a normal office; there are a lot of glass containers and some strange smells from time to time. We keep the place as clean as we can, but it’s a working lab, so there’s always something going on. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just people dropping off things to be tested or looked at. The staff wears white coats mostly to keep their own clothes clean from whatever we are working with. We’ve been at Plot 711 for a good while. The work is very repetitive, but it has to be done carefully every single time. We don't have a big fancy sign out front, just the number on the door. Inside, it’s mostly just equipment and shelves full of notebooks and containers. We drink our tea in a small break area in the back near the window. Sometimes the results we get are surprising, and other times they are exactly what we expected. We don't do much talking about our mission or anything like that. We just focus on the samples in front of us. It’s a quiet kind of life here at the lab. We make sure the logs are filled out and the equipment is turned off before we leave for the day.
