Hi-tech Plast

Hi-tech Plast is located right at Plot No. 759. It’s a straightforward place where we work with plastics all day long. You can smell the heated poly as soon as you step inside the gates, which is something you just get used to after a while. It’s not a huge setup, but we keep the extruders and molds busy through two shifts. The name says Hi-tech, but the daily reality is just hard work and watching the temperature gauges closely. We spend a lot of time sorting through raw materials and making sure the finished parts don't have too many defects or rough edges. Sometimes the machines act up, and we have to spend the whole afternoon with a wrench in hand. Plot No. 759 isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a blue gate and a high roof, but we get the job done. Our crew usually has lunch together under the shade of the small tree near the entrance. It’s a bit of a dusty area in this part of town, but that's common for manufacturing. We don't have many visitors, mostly just delivery guys dropping off sacks of pellets or picking up crates. Everything is about the timing of the cycles. If a mold sticks, the whole day slows down. We just keep our heads down and handle the plastic. It’s honest work, and we’ve been at it long enough to know the quirks of every machine we own.
