Gaytech Engineering operates out of the Race Course Tower in Vadodara. Our office is number 310, right by the Race Course Circle. It’s a good location because it is easy to explain to people where we are. Being in an engineering firm means there is usually a lot of technical talk happening in the office. We have desks covered in drawings and project folders that seem to never end. The view from the tower is alright, but most of us are too busy looking at screens or discussing project timelines to notice it much. We deal with various engineering services, so there is a lot of back and forth with clients and site visits. It is not always a smooth process. Sometimes things get delayed or a design needs to be changed at the last minute. We just handle it as it comes. The atmosphere here is professional but not stiff. We drink a lot of tea and spend hours trying to figure out technical problems. Since we are near the circle, the sound of traffic is a constant background noise. Most of the people working here have a background in technical fields, so the conversations are usually about specs and materials. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or big marketing campaigns. We just focus on the work on our desks and making sure the engineering projects we take on are finished properly. It’s steady work that keeps our small team occupied all year.
