Cruncher

We’re over at No. 80 in Gayatri Nagar Society. It’s right across from the Shivgiri Mangle Karyalay, which makes it easy to find when there’s a big event going on there. Cruncher is just our little business. We don’t have a lot of employees, just a few of us who have known each other for a long time. The office is inside the society, so it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We drink way too much coffee and the bins are always full of paper scraps. It’s not a high-tech lab or a polished retail store. We just have our desks and our equipment. Sometimes the kids from the society play outside our window and it gets a bit loud, but we don't mind. It’s part of being in a neighborhood like Gayatri Nagar. We’ve been here for a good while. People often stop by just to say hello or ask for directions to the Karyalay. We don’t use any fancy marketing tricks. We just do what we do and hope people like it. There’s a bit of dust on the shelves and the clock on the wall is five minutes fast, but it works for us. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to do a good job right here. It’s a small, honest operation and we’re proud of that. We mostly just keep to ourselves and focus on the tasks at hand each morning.
