Gujarat Metal Casting Ind Ltd.

Our place is located out on the Jarod-Samlaya Road. It is a bit of a drive from the main part of Vadodara city, out in the Garadhiya area. We have been doing metal casting here for a long time now. The foundry is a hot and intense place to work, especially during those long Gujarat summers, but that is just the nature of this business. We deal with molten metal and heavy molds every single day. It is physically demanding work and everyone usually goes home pretty tired. We have a lot of guys from the nearby villages who work with us on the floor. The machines are quite loud and the ground is always covered in sand and small bits of metal. We do not have a fancy corporate office with air conditioning in every room. It is a working industrial plant, plain and simple. Most of our time goes into checking the molds and making sure the pours are going as they should. Trucks come in and out all day with scrap metal or finished parts for our customers. It is dusty and noisy most of the time. We have had some good years and some tough ones where the orders were thin, but we stay open and keep the furnaces running regardless. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep things steady. You will find us right on the road, doing what we know.
