Ganpat J Bariya

Ganpat J Bariya is out here at number 11 in Akota Mehmadabad. It is a bit of a quieter area compared to the main city center, which we actually prefer. The road is still unpaved in some parts nearby, so it gets pretty dusty when the wind picks up. Ganpat is usually the first one in, usually around eight-thirty or so. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one near the gate so people don't miss the house. It’s a simple setup we have here. There is a small desk and a couple of chairs for guests. We spend a lot of our time just handling the local needs of the people in Akota. We aren't trying to be some huge company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us working together. Sometimes we spend more time talking about the crops or the local events than we do on actual business. We like the slow pace of things around here. If you come looking for us, you might have to ask a neighbor because the numbering on the street can be a bit confusing. We’ve been in Mehmadabad for many years and most people know Ganpat. We don't use any fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is still done in handwritten ledgers. It feels more real that way to us. We just take each day as it comes and try to do an honest job without any fuss.
