We are located over at 8/A Kaduji Nagar, which is right near Gangotri Society on Old Padra Road. Gannon Dunkerley & Co. Ltd. has been operating out of Vadodara for a good stretch of time. The office is tucked away in a residential-looking area, so it’s actually quite peaceful compared to the main road traffic. We do a lot of our technical planning and coordination right here in this building. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped when everyone comes back from the field, but we make it work. Most of the guys have been with the company for years. We know the local vendors and the way things move in Gujarat. It’s a lot of coordination with site supervisors and making sure the equipment is where it needs to be. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. People find us when they need us. Usually, it's just about getting the jobs finished on time without too much fuss. There’s always a pile of blueprints on the desks and the phone is usually ringing about some delivery or another. It’s a practical setup for a construction and engineering firm. We drink a lot of tea while going over the schedules. If you're coming from the city center, Old Padra Road is easy enough to find. We're just a short turn into the colony. It's a steady environment, and we like the neighborhood well enough.
