Feruson Chemicals

Being out here at Plot No. 6217/1, 2 & 3 in the G.I.D.C. Estate means we are surrounded by a lot of other industrial sheds and factories. Feruson Chemicals has been operating from this spot in the Bharuch district for quite some time now. It is a dusty area, and you can always smell something in the air from one of the neighboring plants. Our facility is mostly practical, with a lot of concrete and metal. We have a small office section where the paperwork gets handled, but most of the action happens out on the floor. It is loud and can get very dusty, so we are always cleaning something. The guys on the shifts have their own routine, and there is a small canteen area where we keep the water cooler and some benches. It is not the kind of place you come to see beautiful architecture, that is for sure. We deal with a lot of barrels and sacks, and there is always a truck backing in or pulling out of the gate. The roads in the estate are a bit rough, especially after the rain, so getting here can be a bit of a bumpy ride. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It is a tough environment but it feels real, and everyone here knows their job well enough to keep things moving day after day.
