F R Sharma & Company is located over on Jetalpur Road. Our office is part of Avishkar Apartment, which is inside Suvarnapuri Society. It’s a bit different than being in a big commercial tower because it feels more like a residential neighborhood. We are in the first unit of the apartment building. The street outside is usually lined with trees, and it’s a bit quieter than the main city hubs. We like it this way. Our workspace is fairly modest. We’ve used the rooms of the apartment to set up our different desks and filing systems. It has a bit of a homey feel, which is nice when you’re working long hours. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make tea during the afternoon slump. Most people in the society know we’re here. It’s a comfortable spot in Vadodara. We don’t have a big neon sign out front, just a small one near the gate. The walk from the main Jetalpur Road isn't far at all. We spend our days going through documents and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes the neighborhood kids are playing outside in the afternoon. It’s a grounded kind of place. We don't really do anything besides focus on the work that needs finishing. It’s a practical setup for us, and it suits the way we operate on a daily basis without any extra fuss or ceremony.
