Excel Fire Protection

Excel Fire Protection is situated out on the Harni-Halol Road, right near the Gita Saw Mill. You can usually smell the fresh wood from the mill when the wind blows the right way. Our place is a bit industrial, fitting for the area. We deal with fire extinguishers, pipes, and all the safety things that buildings need. It is a lot of heavy equipment and metal cylinders. We spend a good part of the day checking the pressure gauges and making sure everything is filled up. The Harni-Halol road is always busy with trucks going back and forth, so there is plenty of noise. Our shop isn't much to look at, just a sturdy building with a lot of inventory inside. We keep the floor swept, but with the saw mill next door, a bit of sawdust always finds its way in. It is just a few of us working here. We don't wear suits or anything; we're usually in work clothes because it is a hands-on job. Sometimes we have to go out to factories nearby to check their setups. When we're in the shop, we're just making sure the equipment is ready to go. We have a small desk for the bills and a few chairs that have seen better days. It is a practical business for a practical neighborhood. We get our lunch from the small shop around the corner. The weather can get quite dusty, so we keep the doors half-closed.
