Essar Steel (In Project Dept)

We are based in Vadodara at C/10 Jay Bajrang Society. This is where the Project Department guys spend their time. It is a residential area, so it is not exactly where you would expect a big steel company to have an office, but it works well for us. We needed a place where we could focus on the planning and the blueprints without all the noise and distraction of the heavy machinery at the plant. The office is basically a house that we have turned into a functional workspace. There are tables covered in large technical drawings and folders are pretty much everywhere you look. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and trying to figure out how to get things built on time. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, with different teams coming in and out to discuss their specific part of the project. We are not big on formalities here at all. Most of us just wear jeans and shirts, and we drink a lot of tea while we talk over the technical details. The society is a nice place, usually pretty quiet during the day when everyone else is away at their own jobs. We have been here for a bit now and the neighbors don't seem to mind the extra cars parked out front too much. It is just a practical spot for us to get the thinking part of the job done. It is nothing fancy, just some rooms and lights.
