ERDA

We’re located right on ERDA Road in the GIDC area. The building is pretty easy to spot once you get onto this stretch of road. ERDA has been sitting here for a long time, and the road actually takes its name from us, which is a bit of a local fact. It’s a large site, so there’s a fair amount of walking involved to get from one side to the other. We have different sections for different tasks, but mostly it’s just people in lab coats or work shirts going about their business. The floors are concrete and the ceilings are high. It can get a bit drafty in the winter, but we don’t mind too much. We have a small canteen where most of us grab a bite during the lunch hour. The talk is usually about the weather or the traffic on the way in. We try to keep things running smoothly, but like any big place, there are always little things that need fixing. A leaky faucet here, a flickering light there. It’s just part of the daily grind. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy rugs or expensive art. It’s a place for work, and it feels that way. We’ve seen the trees along ERDA Road grow quite a bit since we first moved in. It’s a stable place to be, and we just keep on doing what we do every day.
