Ems Group

Working on the 9th floor of the C-Tower at Kalpavrux Complex gives us a pretty decent view of Gotri Road, though mostly we’re just looking at the traffic down below. Ems Group is tucked away in the International Division, which sounds a bit more formal than it actually feels when you’re inside. The office is a mix of desks piled with folders and a few plants that someone forgets to water occasionally. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or typing away at computers. The elevators in this building can be a bit slow in the morning, so a few of us usually end up running late and making jokes about it in the hallway. We don’t do big presentations or have those fancy lounge areas you see in movies. It’s just a place where we handle our business and try to stay organized. Sometimes the AC is a bit too cold, and other times it’s not quite enough, but we manage. Lunch is usually a quick affair, maybe something brought from home or a quick bite from the stalls nearby. We’ve been in this complex for a while, so we know the security guards and the other people working on our floor. It’s a steady routine. We show up, do what needs to be done for our clients, and try to keep things moving forward without any unnecessary drama. When five o'clock rolls around, we pack up our bags and head back down the elevators to the real world.
