If you are driving down Gotri Road in Vadodara, you might have seen our place across from Crystal Plaza. Elbee Express Pvt. Ltd. has been set up here for a bit. It’s a convenient spot because it’s easy for the delivery vans to pull in and out, even when the traffic gets heavy in the evenings. Our day usually starts pretty early when the first round of packages arrives. We spend a lot of time sorting through boxes and checking labels to make sure everything is heading to the right part of the city. The office is a bit small and sometimes gets cluttered with boxes when a big shipment comes in all at once. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is tucked away. We don’t really do much advertising; most people just drop by because they’re already in the area for shopping or work. The staff here is just a few of us who have lived in Vadodara for years. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work on the logistics side of things. It’s a straightforward job. We move things from one place to another and try not to lose anything in the process. Sometimes the computers act up or a delivery is delayed because of road work, but that’s just life on Gotri Road. We’re just here doing our bit and keeping the packages moving through the system day by day.
