Ekta Road Lines

Our office is on the second floor of the B H Complex, right near the Utkarsh Petrol Pump. If you’re coming down Begur Main Road or the 4th Main in Asoj, you’ve probably seen our sign hanging out there. It’s not a very fancy place, just a few desks, some old chairs, and a lot of logbooks stacked up. Ekta Road Lines is what we call it, and we handle a lot of the local transport stuff for the area. We’ve been at this 1st Cross location for a bit now. Most of our day is spent coordinating with drivers over the phone and making sure the loads are where they need to be at the right time. It gets a bit hectic around noon when everyone is calling at once and the trucks are trying to beat the traffic. We don't have a website with tracking numbers and all that high-tech stuff that the big corporations use. Usually, if you want to know where a truck is, we just call the driver and ask him exactly where he is stopped. It’s simpler that way and we don't have to worry about computers crashing or losing data. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep and can be tiring by the end of the day, but it keeps us moving. We deal with all sorts of goods, nothing too specific. As long as it fits on the trailer, we try to find a way to move it.
