Dev Architects Engineers

You can find us over at Palace Road, specifically near Krishnanagar Char Rasta. Number 21 is where the door is. Dev Architects Engineers is a small outfit. We’ve been at this location for some time, and the traffic at the Char Rasta is always something to talk about. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and drawing boards. We do a bit of everything, from the initial architectural sketches to the engineering parts that make sure things actually stand up. It's a lot of back and forth between us. Sometimes we disagree on where a wall should go or how a beam should sit, but we figure it out eventually. The office is a bit cramped because of all the files we keep. We should probably go digital, but having the physical copies just feels better for some reason. People drop by with questions about their houses or shops. We try to give them a straight answer without too much fuss. It’s not a high-end studio with glass walls. It’s just a room with some people working. The floor creaks a little near the entrance. We keep the window open when it's not too dusty outside. Life at Krishnanagar Char Rasta is never particularly quiet, but we like the energy. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. We just keep doing what we do, one project at a time. It’s a steady pace here on Palace Road.
