Deepak Vyas

I am Deepak Vyas and I run my office out of Venus Apartment. It's over in Azadnagar, specifically Alkapuri 2nd Cross and 2nd Main. This is just off Mysore Road here in Bangalore. The traffic on Mysore Road is always a headache, but once you get into the cross roads, it quiets down a bit. My office isn't very large. It’s just a room in the apartment where I keep my desk and files. I’ve lived in Bangalore a long time and moved the work here a few years back. It’s convenient for me. I don't have a receptionist. If the phone rings, I’m the one picking it up. Most of the people I work with have been coming to me for years. We just sit and talk through what needs doing. The lighting in the room is okay during the day but I have to use a lamp in the evening. I keep some plants on the windowsill but I forget to water them sometimes. The apartment complex is mostly families, so it’s a pretty friendly vibe. I try to stay organized but paperwork has a way of piling up on the corners of the desk. I don't use much technology besides the basics. It’s more about the handshakes and the talk. I’m usually here six days a week unless I have to go out for errands.
