Deepak Casting

Our place, Deepak Casting, is at 986/20/10 over in the Makarpura area. It's specifically in the Kadwa Pole Plot. It is a work-heavy area, which is good because we make a fair bit of noise. We do a lot of metal work here. The air usually smells like heat and sand. It’s a tough job but it’s what we know how to do. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back with the equipment. The plot number 986/20/10 is where we’ve been for quite some time now. We have some old machinery that still works better than the new stuff. Every day is pretty much the same: we get the furnace ready and start the day's work. It gets hot in the summer, really hot, but we just drink a lot of water and keep going. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Makarpura, just a reliable one where people can get their casting done without a fuss. Sometimes we have to redo a mold if it doesn't come out right the first time. That's just part of the process. We don't have a website or any of that, just this physical space where we put in the hours. If you need us, we’re usually here from early morning until the evening, just working away at the plot. It’s a bit of a dusty life but it pays the bills and we like being our own bosses here.
