D K Shah Transport

D K Shah Transport operates out of 506, Yashkamal Building. We are right opposite the Commerce College in the Asoj and Wilson Garden area. Being on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly we are just looking at the college across the street. This building is home to a lot of different offices, so there are always people coming and going in the elevator. We’ve been based here for a long time. Our space is filled with desks, old files, and the sound of phones ringing. Transport is a messy business sometimes, with lots of schedules to keep track of. We aren't into the whole corporate culture thing. We just run a straightforward transport office. The Wilson Garden area is usually quite lively, especially with the students from the college nearby. Parking around the Yashkamal Building can be a bit of a nightmare during peak hours, which is something we deal with every day. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just try to make sure the trucks are where they need to be and that the paperwork is finished. Most of our clients are people who have known us for years. It’s an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us and the people we help.
