We are Cma-Cgm Global India Pvt.Ltd, based over in Wadi, Vadodara. Our office is tucked away in Khedakar's Lane, right by V.R. Marathe's place. It’s a typical Gujarat neighborhood, always something going on outside. Dealing with global shipping and logistics from a local lane means things stay interesting. We handle a lot of coordination here. It’s mostly about keeping track of containers and making sure the documentation is sorted out. The heat in Vadodara can be a bit much in the summer, but we stay busy. We have a few people in the office who’ve been here since we started. It’s not a high-rise building or a glass office; it’s just a regular spot where the work gets done. We spend a lot of time on the computer and the phone, talking to people at the ports or other offices. Sometimes the system is slow, or there's a delay at the docks, and we have to figure it out. It’s practical work. We don't spend time on fancy speeches. We just show up, look at the manifests, and try to keep things on track. Life in Wadi is fast-paced, and we just try to keep up with the flow of trade coming through this part of India. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking shipping dates, but it keeps us on our toes every single day through all the seasons.
