Chucks & Spares

Chucks & Spares is tucked away at 749/2/A-8 in the Gidc Makarpura Estate. It’s a big industrial area and it can be easy to get lost if you don't know your way around. We’ve been here for a good while, mostly focusing on all kinds of machine chucks and various spare parts that people need for their equipment. Our space is basically just a large warehouse filled with rows and rows of metal bins. It’s a bit cold in the winter and pretty hot in the summer, but that’s just how these industrial buildings are. We don't have any fancy reception area or a place for people to sit and wait. Usually, customers just walk right into the back where we are sorting through the inventory. My nephew helps me with the heavy lifting and the bookkeeping. We aren't really tech-savvy people, so we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with paper ledgers and phone calls. It works for us. We know our stock pretty well, so if you ask for a specific part, we can tell you right away if it’s on the shelf. The estate is always loud with the sound of trucks and machinery, which we don't even notice anymore. We just focus on getting the right parts out to the people who need them to keep their own shops running. It’s a straightforward life here in Makarpura and we plan to keep at it for a long time.
