Choice

Choice is the name of our shop, and you can find us at 306 Pujar Complex. We’re right across from the Golden Silver Apartments in Gokulnagar, near the Sindhi Society on Makarpura Road in Subhanpura. It’s a good spot, especially with all the people living in the apartments nearby. We sell all sorts of everyday items, things that people realize they’ve run out of at the last minute. It’s a bit of a squeeze in here because we try to stock as much as possible in a small space. We have everything from snacks to household supplies piled up. My nephew helps me out during the busy hours, otherwise it’s just me. We don’t have a fancy computer system for the stock. I just keep a notebook behind the counter and write things down when they run low. It’s a very local kind of place. We know most of the people who walk through the door, and we usually end up chatting for a while before they leave. Sometimes the deliveries are late and the shelves look a bit bare, but that’s just how it is. We aren’t trying to compete with the big supermarkets. We just want to be a convenient place for the neighbors to grab what they need. It’s a lot of hours, but it’s good to be part of the community. We've been here for a long time.
