Chesha Khadigram Udyog

If you go behind the Gurukripa Farm House in Manjusar, you’ll find us at number 740. Chesha Khadigram Udyog is a bit away from the main road, which actually makes it a bit quieter for us to work. We focus on traditional goods, mostly things made by hand or with simple tools. It’s a very practical environment here. We have a lot of raw materials sitting around, waiting to be turned into something useful. The building is basic, with enough room for our equipment and a small area to store the finished products. We aren't a big industrial operation. It’s more about the process and taking the time to do things the way they’ve always been done in the village. We have a few people from the neighborhood who come in to help out. The air out here in Manjusar is a bit fresher than the city, which is nice. We don't spend money on fancy flyers or commercials. Most of our work goes to local markets or people who know what we make. It’s a slow and steady kind of life. We wake up, head to the workspace, and see what we can finish by sunset. There’s no big corporate ladder here, just a group of us working together. We like the honesty of making things with our hands and keeping the old ways going.
