Bonkars

Bonkars is over in Vadodara, specifically in the B Block section. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to the main roads, which we actually prefer. The name Bonkars always gets a few looks, but it’s just what we decided to go with. We have a modest setup here. It’s not one of those polished showrooms you see in the mall. We have some chairs that aren't very comfortable and a desk that wobbles a little if you lean on it too hard. Being in B Block means we see the same faces quite often. We know the guy who delivers the mail and the woman who runs the small shop next door. Vadodara is a city that feels like a small town sometimes if you stay in one area long enough. We do our work without any grand mission statements or fancy goals. We just want to do a decent job and go home. There are days when things are slow and we just sit around talking about cricket or the weather. Then there are days when everything happens at once and it’s a bit of a mess. But that’s just how it goes when you run a local business. We don't have a corporate office somewhere else making decisions for us. It’s just us here in B Block, doing what we do every day and making sure we don't forget to lock up at night.
