Baliyadev Tyre Retreaders

Baliyadev Tyre Retreaders is located at number 22 on the Por Sunkadakatte Road in Srigandakaval. We are tucked inside the Shreenath Plaza, right behind the Shah Petrol Pump at Hegganahalli Cross. The shop is quite easy to find once you get behind the station. It is a place filled with the smell of hot rubber and the sound of heavy compressors. We take old, worn-out tyres and put new life into them by adding a fresh layer of tread. It’s a dirty job, and there is black rubber dust on almost every surface. I’ve been doing this for years, and my work clothes are permanently stained. We get a lot of trucks and transport vehicles because retreading saves them a lot of money compared to new tyres. The workshop is crowded with piles of casings and finished tyres waiting to be picked up. We have a couple of large machines for the curing process, and they generate a lot of heat. It can get quite uncomfortable in the middle of the day. We don't have any fancy signs or a polished showroom. People just bring their old tyres to us and we tell them if they can be saved. It’s practical, hard work and it keeps me busy from dawn to dusk. Most of our customers are drivers who have been coming to us for a long time.
