Ayurlab Herbals Pvt Ltd is located over at 410 Baranpura, inside Kale Chamber. It’s an old building, and our space is filled with the smell of dried leaves and different powders we use. Most of the time, we are busy weighing out things on the small scales or filling up glass jars to put on the shelves. Baranpura is a crowded part of town, so there is always some noise from the street coming up to the chambers. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; it’s just a few of us who know about the plants and how to grind them down properly. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather is really hot and nobody wants to be out in the sun. We spend those hours cleaning the equipment or organizing the stock in the back room. The light in the office isn't great, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just do our work and handle the customers who come in looking for specific things they’ve used for a long time. It’s a very straightforward way of doing business. No one wears a suit here; we just wear what’s comfortable for working with messy herbs all day. We keep a ledger on the desk to track what goes out, and that’s about as high-tech as it gets for us. There are always boxes stacked in the corner waiting to be picked up.
