Our office is 201/A in the Mira Apartment, which is right near the L&T Circle in Karelibaug. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always something going on outside the window. Avishkar Road Carriers Pvt Ltd might sound like a big name, but we are just a small group of people working out of a flat. We chose Karelibaug because it’s central and easy for drivers to find when they come into town. The apartment is mostly filled with filing cabinets and a few desks. It’s not very fancy, just functional. We spend a lot of time tracking shipments and talking to people on the road. Being near L&T Circle means we see a lot of the industrial side of the city. I’ve been in this trade for a long time and I’ve seen how much it’s changed. We don't use much technology besides the basics. Paper records still work fine for us. Sometimes the power goes out in the building and we just light a candle and keep talking. It’s that kind of place. We don't put on airs or pretend to be something we aren't. We just move goods from one place to another. It’s a tough business but it’s what we know how to do. Most of our clients are people we’ve known for a decade. It’s about being reliable and showing up when you say you will. That's the whole secret.
