Atul Cable House

Atul Cable House is situated near the Sun Moon Building on Laherpura New Road in Vadodara. This part of the city has a very old-school commercial feel to it, with shops and businesses crowded together along the street. We operate out of a space that is mostly filled with big wooden reels of wire and stacks of different cables. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy decorations or air-conditioned waiting rooms. Instead, you’ll find us moving boxes around or measuring out lengths of wire for someone who just walked in. The Sun Moon Building is a good landmark, so most people don't have too much trouble finding where we are. The street outside is usually full of scooters and delivery vans, and the noise from the traffic never really stops until late at night. We have been here in Vadodara for a long time, and we know many of the local contractors and electricians who stop by when they need something for a job. The shop can get a bit cluttered because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand, but we generally know where everything is tucked away. It’s a simple operation run by a few of us who have been doing this for years. We don't do much marketing or anything like that; we just open the shutters in the morning and wait to see what the day brings. It is a basic, reliable way to make a living.
