We’re based in Sultanpur, right near the Nagar Palika office in Civil Line. Our place is at B 7, Nagar Palika Colony. It’s a pretty straightforward setup here. Sultanpur isn't as big as some of the other cities, but there’s still plenty of road traffic coming through this part of UP. We spend our days dealing with the transport side of things, specifically the big trucks that carry goods across the state. The office is just a plain room where we keep our ledgers and handle the phone calls from drivers and clients. It can get a bit loud outside with the main road so close, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have any mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the cargo gets loaded right and that the drivers have their papers in order before they head out. Sometimes a truck breaks down or there’s a delay at a border crossing, and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. It’s practical, everyday work. We know the local routes well and we know most of the people who come by the office. It’s a steady pace, and we just take things as they come. When it gets quiet in the evening, we finally get a chance to catch up on the filing before we lock up for the night. There is a lot of paperwork to manage, but that's just part of the job here.
