Associated Bearings Co Pvt Ltd is situated on R V Desai Road. We are in the Laheripura New Road area, right opposite the Sai Baba Temple. Having the temple right there is nice because you hear the bells and the morning prayers, which keeps the day feeling a bit more peaceful despite the traffic outside. R V Desai Road is one of those streets that never seems to sleep. There is always a truck or a rickshaw honking nearby. Our office and storage space is filled with all sorts of bearings. They are heavy and sometimes a bit greasy, so the floors stay a bit marked up no matter how much we clean them. It’s a metal-on-metal kind of environment. We have been here for quite some time, and most people in the trade know the landmark of the temple to find us. The building itself is an older style, with thick walls that keep the heat out a little bit. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. There are just shelves stacked high with boxes and a couple of desks where we handle the orders. Usually, there are three or four of us here, moving crates or checking invoices. Lunch is often eaten at our desks while we talk about the day’s work. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest way to spend the day. We like being in this part of town, even with all the noise.
