Ashok P Shah’s office is located at 11 Dandia Bazar on R M Road in the Oshiwara area. We are also quite near Ranmukteshwar Road, so it’s a familiar part of the neighborhood for many people. The office has been here for years and it shows in the way the furniture looks and how many files we’ve managed to pack into the shelves. It’s a busy location, and the sound of the traffic from R M Road is a constant companion throughout the day. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or modern glass partitions. It’s just a solid, old-fashioned office where we sit at our desks and get through the work. We usually have a bit of a mess on the tables because there’s always something being worked on. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. Most days it’s just us in our everyday clothes, doing the filing and answering the phones. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to ask for directions or have a quick chat, and we like that about being here. It feels like we are really part of the local scene in Dandia Bazar. We don't use any slick marketing or try to make the office look like something it isn't. It’s just a place where we put in our hours and handle our business in a straightforward way. If you’re coming from Ranmukteshwar Road, we’re just a short distance away in this old building.
