Artys Paper Heritage

Our small office is tucked away in the B1 Nand building, right behind the Bank of Baroda on Pratap Road. Being near Dandia Bazaar means there is always something going on outside our windows. You can hear the vegetable sellers and the bikes going past all day long. Inside, it is a bit different. The air always has that dry, woody smell of paper. We have stacks of it piled up against almost every wall. Sometimes we run out of shelf space and have to use the floor, which makes walking around a bit of a challenge. It’s a bit of a joke among the staff that you need to be a mountain climber to find certain batches of stock. We’ve been in this spot for years and haven't felt the need to change much. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. We have an old wooden desk where we handle all the paperwork, and it’s seen better days for sure. When people come by to pick things up, they usually have to wait a minute while we dig through the latest shipment. It’s just the way we do things here. No corporate manuals or strict rules, just a few people who know their way around paper and a building that has seen a lot of history. It is a bit disorganized, but we get the job done anyway.
