Arin Clinic

Our little clinic is tucked away in the Shyamdarshan Apartment building. It’s on the ground floor, which is nice because nobody has to climb any stairs. We are right behind the Ward Office number six in Akota. It can be a little tricky to find the first time, but once you see the apartment block, you’re basically there. We’ve been set up in this spot for some time now. Inside, it’s just a basic setup with what we need to get through the day. We spend most of our time talking to people and checking things out. It’s a quiet enough area most days, which we like. The neighbors are mostly families living in the apartments above us. We keep our hours regular, though sometimes we stay a bit late if someone needs us. It's not a huge place, but it's enough room for us to do what we need to do. We have a few chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. Most of the folks who come in live right here in Akota. We know a lot of them by name now. It’s just a normal part of the neighborhood. We don’t do anything flashy. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until the work is finished. It’s a decent way to spend the day helping out. We are glad to be part of the community here in this part of town.
