Apex Batteries

We are at Fatepura 7th Cross, on 5th Main 14/15. Apex Batteries has been in this spot for years. You can usually tell where we are by the stacks of old batteries outside. It’s a heavy job. Lifting lead batteries all day keeps us tired. The floor is always a bit stained with grease and maybe some acid marks here and there. It’s a workshop, not a mall. We help people when their cars won't start in the morning. Sometimes we go out to help them, but mostly they bring the batteries to us. We have the chargers running all night. You can hear them humming if the street is quiet. Fatepura is a busy neighborhood. There are lots of shops around us, mostly mechanical stuff. We know most of the people on 7th Cross. It’s a good community. We don't have a big sales team. It’s just us and the tools. People come to us because they know we have what they need in stock. We keep the 14/15 address busy from dawn to dusk. It’s a lot of manual work. My hands are usually dirty by noon. That’s just part of the trade. We take the old ones back and get them recycled properly. It’s just a regular battery shop trying to do things right every day. We have a small radio that plays local songs all day. It helps pass the time when things are slow. But things aren't slow often. People always have battery trouble. It’s a constant thing. We just keep the wrenches turning.
