Anil B Lalcheta

Our office, Anil B Lalcheta, is located on the ground floor of the Payal Complex at 41 Sayajigun. We are right in the thick of things near Sassoon Docks and not too far from the Stock Exchange. It’s a busy part of the city, especially in the mornings when the docks are active. The building itself has been around for a while, and our space is pretty straightforward. We don't have much in the way of decorations, just the necessary desks and files we need to keep things moving. Being on the ground floor is handy because we get a lot of people just dropping in to ask a question or drop off some paperwork. The noise from the street is almost always there, but you get used to it after a week or two. We handle our daily tasks without much fuss. It’s mostly just making sure the numbers add up and the records are kept straight. Sometimes the humidity from being near the water gets to the paper, so we have to be careful about that. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else in the area. The local chai wallah knows our order by heart now. It’s that kind of neighborhood. You see the same faces every day and you just get on with your business. It's nothing special, just work.
