Amrit Roadlines

If you are looking for Amrit Roadlines, you will find us at Shop 14 in the Khodiyar Shopping Centre. We are right on N. H. No. 8 at Por, in the Vadodara district. Being right on the highway means there is always a layer of dust on everything, and the sound of trucks never really stops. That is just how the transport business is. Our office is small, mostly just a place to keep the logbooks and answer the phone. We spend most of the day talking to drivers and making sure the loads are moving where they need to go. Sometimes we are at the off. add. instead of the main shop, but usually, someone is around. It is a lot of waiting for arrivals and then a sudden rush to get things sorted. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. We have been operating from this Khodiyar spot for quite some time. It is not a glamorous job, but it is steady. The walls have some old calendars and maps pinned up. We do not have fancy computers or a big staff. Just a few of us who know the roads and the schedules. Every day is different depending on the traffic and the weather on the highway. We just take it as it comes and keep the wheels turning. It is hard work, but we have gotten used to the noise and the pace of the road.
