Ambica Auto Industries

Ambica Auto Industries is based out of the Gidc in Por Ramangamdi. Specifically, we are at C-1, 237/1. We also have a connection over on N P Thakar Road in Vile Parle East. It’s a bit of a trek between locations sometimes. Our main work happens in the industrial shed where we deal with auto parts and manufacturing. There is always the sound of machinery and the smell of grease in the air. We’ve been at this for a long time, starting out as a small family operation. We make various components that go into cars and trucks. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially when we have a big order to finish. The floors are concrete and the walls are lined with tools we’ve collected over decades. We don't have a fancy office or a lobby for guests. Most people who come by are truck drivers or other factory owners. We talk shop over tea in the afternoons when the machines are cooling down. It’s a noisy environment, but we are used to it by now. We take pride in making things that last. We aren't trying to be the biggest factory around, just one that does honest work. Every piece that leaves here has been checked by someone who knows what they are doing.
