Ambe Auto Battery

You will find us in Karelibaug, over in Anand Nagar. We deal with auto batteries all day. They are heavy and usually a bit dusty when they come in. Our shop has stacks of them along the walls. We spend a lot of time checking voltages and hooking things up to the chargers. It is a quiet kind of work, punctuated by the occasional spark when we connect the cables. The air has that distinct sharp smell of lead and acid that you get in places like this. We do not have a big team, just a couple of us handling the daily tasks. People drop off their old batteries and we see if they can be saved or if they need a replacement. It is a straightforward business. We do not have any fancy posters or a waiting room with a television. It is just a counter and the equipment we need to do the job right. The light in the back of the shop is a bit flickery, but we know our way around the space well enough. Karelibaug is a nice neighborhood, and being in Anand Nagar means we get to know the regulars. We have had some customers coming to us for many years now. We just keep things simple. If a battery is dead, we tell you clearly. We do not try to make it sound more complicated than it is. It is just honest work in a small corner of the city.
