Alpha Architects

We are a small group of people working out of Nizampura 1St Cross. It is a quiet enough spot, though the traffic gets a bit much in the evenings. Alpha Architects has been around here for some time now. We basically spend our days looking at floor plans and trying to make sense of what people want for their homes. Most of our work comes from folks in the neighborhood who just want a solid plan for a new house or maybe an extra room. We aren't a giant firm with fancy suits. It is usually just us in jeans, drinking way too much tea and arguing over where a window should go. Architecture sounds like a big word, but really it is just about making sure a building stays up and looks decent. We know the local rules here pretty well, which helps when dealing with all the paperwork. Sometimes it gets stressful when deadlines are close, but we manage. The office is a bit cluttered with rolls of paper and old models, but we know where everything is. If you find yourself on 1st Cross, you might see us coming and going. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything. You just walk in and we talk. It is a practical way to run things. We’ve seen the street change quite a lot since we started. It feels good to be part of the community here and help people build things that will last them a lifetime.
