We run things out of B-6 in the Gangotri Apartment complex. It's located on R V Desai Road, near the T R Nagar Post Office area. It’s technically part of the 1st Stage, 3rd Block. Being in an apartment building for a transport business might seem a bit odd to some, but it works fine for our administrative side. Most of the heavy lifting and truck coordination happens over the phone and through logbooks. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many ledgers and maps tucked into the corners. There is always a pot of tea on the go or someone coming in with a delivery receipt. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a while now. The apartment is on the ground floor, which makes it easier for drivers to stop by and drop off paperwork without having to wander through the whole building. R V Desai Road can get quite congested, so we usually tell people to come early if they want to avoid the traffic. The neighbors in Gangotri are used to us by now. It’s a busy little hub in a residential block. We don’t have fancy computers or high-tech tracking screens, just a lot of pens and paper and people who know the roads well. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn until late in the evening. There is always a truck somewhere that needs a call or a paper that needs a stamp.
