We’ve been operating out of 81C in the Karelibaug Ind. Estate for quite some time now. Our unit is right on Jalaram Marg, which sounds like it might be a quiet street, but it really isn't. Every morning starts with the sound of shutters rolling up all along the block. The traffic gets pretty thick with trucks and tempos trying to squeeze through the narrow parts of the estate. Inside our space, things are pretty basic. We have a few old desks that have been with us since the start and a couple of filing cabinets that don't always close right. It’s not a place designed for looks; it’s just where we get our work done. We spend most of the day handling the usual paperwork and keeping track of what’s coming in and going out. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the hum of the neighboring units' machinery throughout the day. When it’s time for a break, most of us wander down to the tea stall at the corner of the estate. It’s a good spot to hear the local gossip or just get away from the office noise for ten minutes. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people who know the routine well. The power goes out occasionally, and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in or for the lights to come back on. It’s just how it goes here in Karelibaug. We keep things moving as best as we can every single day.
