Ajitsingh H Solanki

I've been working out of Raopura for a good while now. It’s one of those parts of town that never really stays quiet. My name is Ajitsingh H Solanki, and this is where I handle my daily business. Raopura has that old-school feel to it, with narrow lanes and people constantly moving around. You can hear the rickshaws honking and the chatter from the nearby shops all day long. It's not the kind of place where you get much peace, but it feels like home to me. I usually get in early before the heat really kicks in for the day. My setup here is simple. I don't really go for anything flashy because that’s not how things work in this neighborhood. Most of the people I deal with are folks from around here or people who have been coming to this area for years. You get to know the faces after a while. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just manage and keep moving. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to people on the phone or in person. By the time evening comes around, the whole place feels different with the street lights and the crowd getting thicker. I’ve lived and worked in this city long enough to appreciate the routine. It’s just me doing my thing in Raopura, trying to keep up with everything that needs doing before I head home for the night.
