Ajanta Arts

Our spot at Ajanta Arts is a bit out of the way, located in Mahapura Village. You have to find the Sevasi Post Office first and then head towards Sadguru Farm House. It is a quiet area compared to the city. We have been working out of this space for quite some time now. Being at a farm house gives us a lot of room to move things around, which is good when we are busy with various projects. The air is a bit cleaner out here, though the road can get a little bumpy after it rains. We usually start our day early when the sun comes up. There is a lot of handiwork involved in what we do, so you will often see people sitting around working on different pieces. We don't have a big storefront or anything shiny. Most of the time, the workspace is filled with materials and half-finished items. It is a bit disorganized at times, but we know where everything is. The locals in Mahapura know us as the arts people near the farm. It is a peaceful place to work, even if we are sometimes rushing to get things ready. We just focus on getting the work done and keeping the space functional for everyone who helps out here. It is a simple life but it keeps us busy and we like the quiet surroundings of the village. We just take it one day at a time.
